CA Intermediate

CA Intermediate

CA Intermediate is the second level of the CA program, and it is more advanced compared to the Foundation level. It provides in-depth knowledge of various areas of accounting, finance, and law.

Eligibility

  • Direct entry is possible after graduation/post-graduation with a specified percentage (Commerce graduates with 55% or other graduates with 60%).

  • Students who have cleared the CA Foundation exam can also enroll for CA Intermediate.

Exam Structure

The Intermediate course is divided into two groups (Group 1 and Group 2), each having Three subjects. Students can choose to give either both groups together or one at a time.

5. Auditing and Ethics
6. Financial Management and Strategic Management
4. Cost and Management Accounting
  • Passing Criteria: Similar to the Foundation level, students must secure 40% in each paper and a 50% aggregate in each group.

  • Practical Training (Articleship): After passing both groups of the Intermediate course, students are eligible to register for Articleship (practical training), which is a crucial part of the CA program and lasts for 2 years
