CA Foundation

CA Foundation is the entry-level course in the Chartered Accountancy program, which students pursue after completing their 12th standard (high school) exams.

Registration

Students must register with ICAI for the Foundation course.

Exam Structure

The CA Foundation exam has four papers, which are a mix of subjective and objective questions.

Eligibility

You must have completed your 12th grade in any stream (commerce, science, or arts) from a recognized board.

The four papers are
2. Business Laws
3. Quantitative Aptitude (Business Mathematics, Logical Reasoning, and Statistics)
1. Accounting
4. Business Economics

Passing Criteria: To pass, students need to secure at least 40% in each paper and a 50% aggregate in all papers combined.
